first promo video from 2012 took the collective attention of the skate comunity by surprise and was key to shift the focus from California to Europe at time when most of the heritage skate companies felt  played out and stale. The vision from Polar´s creator Pontus Alv, through his videos, art direction, apparel design, team, spots and skating set the tone on what was cool and inspiring  in skateboarding to become one of the most influential skate companies of the last decade.
